But what happens when those certainties suddenly disappear? What remains of a community when its foundation starts to crumble?
Six acrobats move through an increasingly unstable collective. Roles shift, trust is tested. Who still catches whom? How do we move forward together when nothing feels certain anymore?
A surreal advertising board looms in the background, evoking the unreachable ideals of consumer culture. As that illusion slowly breaks apart, so does the physical structure the performers inhabit. Using a powerful mix of partner acrobatics, banquine, swinging trapeze, Chinese pole, and vertical rope, the performers explore what it means to hold on — and to let go. They are forced to constantly adapt — to one another, and to a world in flux.
AUF|BRUCH is contemporary circus at its most visceral: intensely physical and visually striking. A collective attempt to build something new from the ruins of the old.
