A playful circus performance in which just one simple rule is stretched, molded, and transformed into endless possibilities.
The formula is minimalist: 1 structure, 2 platforms, 3 instruments, 4 props, 5 chairs, 6 artists, and 7 meters in height. Within this strict three-dimensional framework, six world-class circus artists unleash their collective potential. Five red chairs beneath an impressive structure form the playground where various disciplines converge: partner acrobatics, (vertical) rope, Chinese pole, and swinging trapeze.
“Take a seat” is a collective performance that constantly offers fresh perspectives on navigating social circles. How do you find your balance? How do you take your place without preventing others from finding theirs?
Moving duets and intimate solo moments alternate with turbulent group choreographies. Bodies lift, challenge, help, and constantly reorganize each other, in a play where every movement can give rise to a new possibility. Breathtaking acrobatics, live music, and a touch of humor enchant audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
